Investee hereby promises to protect registered users’ privacy. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it
frequently.
Protecting users’ privacy is Investee’s top concern, and we will not rent or sell your personal information to any third parties without your prior
authorization, unless in the following cases:
1. You agree to share the information with a third party;
2. You agree to publicize your personal information to enjoy certain products and services;
3. Abidance of court summons, court order or proceedings;
4. You violated Investee’s Terms of Service or other regulations on our website.
Privacy settings on our website include “Contact Settings”, “Profile”, “Updates”, and “Group Settings”.
Every registered member has two profiles – Profile and Public Profile, where all the information is provided by members during registration or while
using the website. A member’s profile can only be viewed by registered members, while the public profile can be viewed by any user, and is indexed
by search engines.
Members’ profile information will vary according to the relationship between the visitor and owner of the profile, as well as the profile owner’s privacy
settings. By default, work experience, education, interests, honors and so on can be viewed by contacts in your 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree networks.
However, your email address, your cell phone number, other phone numbers, IM accounts and other contact information will be only displayed to
Connections. Contacts beyond your 3rd degree network can only see the basic information of your profile.
A public profile’s information is displayed according to the member’s Public Profile Settings found in his/her profile. Members can also choose to
hide their public profile completely. Members’ Microblog updates and shared content will be displayed on their profiles and viewed by other members;
non-registered users can only view the abstract of the shared content.
Please note that Investee is not responsible for the personal information you agree to share with others or third parties.
After signing into Investee, members can update their personal information, password, and relevant profile information under “Profile Settings”,
“Account Settings”, etc.
